ROTONautica — Air Step hull
The first monohull polyethylene boat with Air Step technology — faster, more efficient and steadier through the water.
01Overview
The Hydra 530 has been developed for boaters who value stability, efficiency, durability and confident performance on the water.
As the first monohull polyethylene boat with Air Step technology, it combines an innovative hull with the practical advantages of rotomoulded construction. The hull geometry improves efficiency, acceleration, stability and handling, while the polyethylene build keeps maintenance low.
A step beneath the hull creates a cushion of air that reduces friction, giving faster acceleration, a higher top speed and a smoother, more efficient ride.
Reduced friction means a smoother ride with more stability, even in rough water. Combined with the light 3-layer polyethylene construction, the boat reaches high speeds on a smaller engine — lower fuel consumption, a smaller footprint and greater range.
The Hydra 530 combines a fast, smooth ride with the ability to run straight onto a sandy shore, so a day can take in both the water and the coast.
The rigid but light hull is what makes that possible without worrying about the damage a laminate would take.

The hull is the same in every case. What changes is the deck layout, the seating and the equipment specified for the job.
